post Federal Minimum Wage Increased But Did Not Help California Employees

Last week the federal minimum wage went up to $7.25 per hour. It is estimated that 4.5 million workers across the country got a raise last week, but that did not change anyone’s pay in California. California’s minimum wage at $8 per hour was already above the Federal minimum wage.
